Vice Commerce Minister Jiang Chenghua said U.S. investment in China increased 7.7% year on year in the first nine months of 2026. Investment from France and Switzerland rose 31.8% and 26%, respectively. China established more than 47,000 new foreign-invested enterprises; utilized foreign investment fell 4.3% to 548.81 billion yuan, while foreign-invested enterprises’ trade grew 24.1%.
