Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Djibouti’s foreign minister, Abdoulkader Houssein Omar, in Beijing. The two sides issued a communiqué on peace and stability in the Horn of Africa and shipping security in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, and signed a memorandum to advance cooperation under the Global Security Initiative.
