SocietyA Long March of her own: Growing roses at Jiajin Mountain
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the Long March victory. In 1935, the Red Army crossed Jiajin Mountain in southwest China through snow and freezing temperatures. Today, local villager Chen Wanghui, known as “Rose Sister,” grows roses that provide income for thousands of people in the area, describing her path as a Long March of her own.
