The Red Cross Society of China urgently allocated 3,800 relief items to earthquake-affected areas in Xizang, including family and hygiene kits, heating stoves, insulated tents, jackets, folding beds and quilts. A magnitude-7.0 earthquake struck Baqen County in Nagqu City, and a Red Cross team was sent to help local authorities relocate residents and meet basic needs.
