TechHackers unlock homebrew access on Switch 2, dealing a blow to security
A security researcher demonstrated a software-only partial jailbreak of the Switch 2, gaining userland access that enables homebrew, game reverse engineering and modding, save backups, and access to most peripherals. The tethered method exploits an array integer overflow in the original Switch version of SmileBasic 4 and requires a macOS or Linux computer on the same network.
