TechTesla in Full Self-Driving mode strikes and kills man crossing I-80
A 71-year-old man was killed early Thursday while crossing I-80 in Vallejo, California, when a Tesla operating in Full Self-Driving mode hit him. The California Highway Patrol said dashcam video showed the car braking and steering left to avoid him, but its right front still struck him. Authorities believe another vehicle may also have hit the man afterward.
