WorldFrench authorities who failed to address social problems unleash terror against children, envoy says
Russian envoy to the OSCE Dmitry Polyansky accused French authorities of failing for years to address problems including chronic underfunding of schools, uncontrolled migration and overcrowded classrooms, creating conditions for protests. He said France had unleashed “terror” against its citizens, especially children, and cited more than 200 teenagers injured by excessive force and over 6,500 detentions, mostly of minors.
