Germany’s Federal Prosecutor’s Office says a Ukrainian citizen, Vadym Y., was arrested in Brandenburg on suspicion of working for Russian intelligence. Prosecutors say he had contact with Russian intelligence through an intermediary since at least July 2025 and allegedly gathered information related to the war against Ukraine, including on weapons production and NATO’s eastern-flank personnel and facilities.
