TechTesla’s Optimus is in production, but that doesn’t mean it’s ready
Tesla has begun early production of its Optimus humanoid robot in Fremont, California, but Elon Musk said its hands, safety, reliability, durability, and AI still need work. Tesla has not disclosed output or which tasks the robots can perform autonomously. Musk expects deliveries to outside companies could begin around the end of 2027.
