WorldUkraine repatriates 252 bodies Russia claims are those of Ukrainian soldiers

Ukraine said it repatriated 252 bodies that Russia identified as Ukrainian service members. Ukrainian investigators and forensic experts will examine and identify them. Ukrainian officials have alleged that Russia previously returned its own soldiers’ bodies to Kyiv, possibly to avoid compensation payments to their families or out of a “negligent attitude toward their own people.”
