PoliticsThird round of talks between Venezuelan government and opposition ends
The Venezuelan government and the 2015 National Assembly opposition group concluded their third round of talks in Caracas. They discussed democracy, judicial authority, freedoms, political stability, restoring state institutions and an election roadmap, and again urged the UK to return Venezuela’s reserve assets held at the Bank of England. Another round is scheduled for November.
