HealthPope Leo will not need further cancer treatment, Vatican says

The Vatican said Wednesday that Pope Leo XIV's lung cancer was localized and doctors determined no further treatment was needed. He had surgery in Rome last week to remove the lower lobe of his right lung. His surgeon said there was no clinical reason to cancel the planned South America visit.
