EconomyShares in major Ukrainian farm company Astarta hit two-year low

Shares in Ukrainian agricultural holding Astarta fell to their lowest level in more than two years. Trading was suspended on the Warsaw Stock Exchange on Oct. 20 after a 19.14% one-day drop, and the stock fell another 8% the next day. Astarta reported a first-half 2026 net loss of 14.07 million euros, mainly due to lower sugar and milk prices and higher soybean logistics costs.
