TechThe net gun built for civilians in Ukraine’s kill zone
Engineers from BlueBird Tech demonstrated the Chipa net gun during training with Ukraine’s National Guard Omega unit. The device is designed to tangle the propellers of nearby FPV drones and was initially developed for civilians in front-line “kill zones,” where drone threats are spreading to roads and neighborhoods. It can be fired once, costs about Hr 3,000, and does not require a firearms permit to buy. A netted drone can still explode and endanger people nearby.
