TechSpotify launches its first native car app, moving beyond CarPlay

Spotify has launched a native in-car app built on Google’s Android Automotive system, beginning with select Audi models. It runs on the vehicle’s infotainment hardware rather than relying on a connected phone, giving Spotify control over the interface while the company says it remains invested in CarPlay and Android Auto.
