Travel searches for Heilongjiang have risen 157% month on month since early October, tourism data show. The Harbin-Yichun high-speed railway, which opened on Sept. 28, cuts the journey between the cities to as little as one hour and 46 minutes and is spurring autumn foliage trips along the route.
