Iraq has closed most checkpoints along its border with Iran until further notice, Shafaq News reported. Baghdad cited evidence of Tehran’s involvement in September attacks on Saudi Arabia launched from Iraqi territory, including a strike on the East-West oil pipeline. Iraqi authorities also believe Iran brought drone-assembly components into border areas. Iraq and Iran have not commented.
