Libya’s eastern-based parliament, backed by Khalifa Haftar, unanimously approved the 2019 maritime-boundary agreement with Türkiye, reversing its 2020 rejection and break in political ties with Ankara. Greece and Cyprus had denounced the deal, saying it breached international law and disregarded other eastern Mediterranean countries’ rights.
