TechSpotify removes 50 million AI slop and spam tracks from recommendations
Spotify says it removed more than 50 million songs it deemed AI-generated slop or spam from recommendations over the past year, while adjusting its system to highlight human artists. It introduced an “AI Persona” badge but says it will not recommend music from AI personas.
