South Korea will withdraw some diplomatic personnel from Ukraine as relations deteriorate over the disclosure that two North Korean prisoners of war were transferred to South Korea. A charge d’affaires will remain in Kyiv to assist South Korean nationals and maintain communication. Seoul also cited growing Russian airstrike threats to staff safety.
