Russian rapper Navai Bakirov was released from detention in Kazakhstan after the criminal case against him on drug-smuggling charges was dropped for what police called his “active repentance.” Prosecutors approved the decision. He had been detained on October 14 after drugs were found in his car at the Kyrgyzstan border.
