ScienceStudy finds most wild bee species in Europe are declining

A study covering records since 1921 found declines in most of Europe’s wild bee species and about half of its hover flies. Declining bee species outnumbered those increasing in every region except the Alps. Researchers warned that pollinator communities are being reshaped and could face deeper functional disruption if trends continue.
