TechRosatom subsidiary meets domestic demand for thallium nitrate
Giredmet, part of Rosatom’s research division, developed a technology and began producing thallium nitrate, meeting Russian electronics makers’ demand for the component and ending reliance on foreign supplies. The company said production costs are 40% below foreign manufacturers’ prices. The work was carried out under a government contract with Russia’s Industry and Trade Ministry.
