SocietyAnhui races against rain as autumn grain harvest nears 90%

Anhui had harvested about 3.8 million hectares of autumn grain by Saturday, nearly 90% of the total area. Persistent rain delayed fieldwork and natural drying, prompting the province to activate 2,590 drying sites and more than 700 emergency teams. Over 10,000 dryers processed more than 300,000 metric tons on Sunday.
