Metinvest chief executive Yuriy Ryzhenkov urged the EU to lift import restrictions on Ukrainian products, saying measures targeting cheap steel imports have swept Ukraine in without adequately considering its wartime circumstances. The EU said it had taken Ukraine’s difficulties into account and that dedicated quotas still allow exports, though at lower levels than in recent years.
