WorldLavrov, Bahraini king and foreign minister discuss Gulf situation
During Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s working visit to Bahrain, he met King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. They discussed the Gulf crisis, economic cooperation and bilateral ties, stressing the need to prevent renewed hostilities and protect freedom and security of international maritime navigation. They also exchanged views on prospects for settling the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
