TechDisney agrees to hire most of Character.AI’s workforce

After chatbot startup Character.AI filed for bankruptcy earlier this week, many employees will have the opportunity to work at Disney. The startup’s former CEO, Karandeep Anand, recently became the entertainment giant’s first CTO. Character.AI previously said Disney had agreed to buy some of its assets for $20 million.
