HealthZambia launches oral cholera vaccination campaign to contain outbreak
Zambia launched an oral cholera vaccination campaign on Friday in Lusaka and Chibombo District. The first phase is set to allocate more than 500,000 doses, with another 480,000 expected soon. Health Minister Roma Chilengi said the outbreak has reached 12 districts in five provinces; the country has recorded 966 cases and 25 deaths.
