Chinese Premier Li Qiang met Botswana’s President Duma Gideon Boko in Beijing on Thursday. Li proposed deepening political trust and cooperation, including through the Belt and Road and work in mining, digital technology and green energy. Boko said Botswana supports the one-China principle and wants to use China’s zero-tariff policy to expand trade.
