Pope Leo XIV left Rome’s Gemelli hospital on Saturday afternoon and returned to the Vatican, four days after lung cancer surgery. Doctors said blood tests and chest scans showed he was well enough to go home. He walked unaided to his car and spoke with well-wishers outside.
