Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, told TASS that Dobropolye lies near the border with the Dnepropetrovsk Region and that its liberation brings the goal of fully liberating Donbass closer. Russia’s chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, had reported to President Vladimir Putin that Battlegroup Center liberated the settlement on October 16.
