Society‘We are in hiding’: seriously ill Briton fears deportation from Sweden

Mark Smith, a seriously ill British man who has lived in Sweden since 2017, says officials repeatedly told him after Brexit that he did not need to apply to remain. He and his Swedish wife have left their home and are hiding in a caravan park. A court declined to suspend his deportation decision but gave him until 20 October to seek a retrial.
