Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke was detained in New Delhi ahead of a protest and then arrested to prevent a breach of the peace. He was due to appear before a Special Executive Magistrate. The party said his family, lawyers and members had not been told where he was held; police said protests were barred in Connaught Place.
