TechApple updates App Store rules to target ‘nudify’ AI apps

Apple’s revised App Store rules more explicitly prohibit so-called “nudify” apps that use AI to create intimate images of people without consent. The changes follow criticism after X users used Grok to make nonconsensual sexualized deepfakes, including images of minors. Apple kept X and Grok on the store, though it told senators it had threatened to remove Grok.
