SportsSpain to appeal to CAS over FIFA penalty for Islamophobic chants

Spain’s football federation is taking its case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport after FIFA rejected its appeal over sanctions for Islamophobic chants by supporters during a March match against Egypt. FIFA fined the federation $20,000 and ordered at least 15 percent of seats closed for Spain’s next home friendly.
