In the documentary premiering Saturday, investigative journalist Mariana van Zeller explores romance scams with the help of ethical hacker Arman the Cyber. They use a fake bitcoin receipt to lure someone posing as Jon Bon Jovi and give the victim closure. The film examines how romance scams blur the line between lover and fraud victim; the FTC says they cost Americans nearly $1.5 billion annually.
