Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said Russia was prepared to increase energy deliveries to Europe under existing long-term contracts. He said gas supply agreements run through 2035–2040, and argued that Europe rejected Russian supplies for political reasons and that unilateral refusal to accept them was not legally grounded or in consumers’ interests.
