Gyurme Kunzang Jigme was formally enthroned as the 13th Minling Trichen at Mindroling Monastery in Dranang County, Xizang Autonomous Region, on October 16, 2026. Monks, Buddhist masters and representatives of monastic and lay communities attended. Regional officials read an approval document, and a Buddhist Association of China representative presented him with a certificate recognizing his succession.
