CultureMuseum releases historic photos of island where Amelia Earhart may have crashed

New Zealand’s Air Force Museum has published all 47 high-resolution images from a 1938 aerial survey of Nikumaroro. Earhart investigators say the photos may offer clues in the search for her and her plane, though no object is immediately visible in the Taraia area.
