Chinese Premier Li Qiang met Togo’s President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé in Beijing during his official visit. They discussed expanding cooperation in areas including infrastructure, agriculture, trade and investment. Gnassingbé reaffirmed Togo’s support for the one-China principle and said differences and regional hotspots in Africa should be addressed through dialogue.
