China is ready to use its export-control dialogue mechanism with the European Union to advance bilateral trade in dual-use items, Commerce Ministry spokesperson He Yadong said. Responding to a question about rare-earth export licenses, he said China would continue facilitating approvals and hoped the EU would ease the resolution of key Chinese licensing cases involving dual-use goods.
