A court in Kazakhstan ordered rapper Navai Bakirov held in pretrial detention for two months in a drug-smuggling case, Baza reported. He was detained at a checkpoint on October 14 while entering from Kyrgyzstan after drugs were found in his car. Kyrgyzstan’s State Border Service has opened an internal inquiry into his border screening.
