Pope Leo XIV met a senior Vatican aide at Rome’s Gemelli hospital as he recovered from surgery to remove a cancerous lung nodule. Doctors said his tests were normal, his operated lung was healing well and recovery was proceeding as expected. He was moving independently and doing physiotherapy.
