EconomyGas reserves in European underground storage facilities reach 74%
TASS calculations based on Gas Infrastructure Europe data show that European underground storage facilities were 74.02% full on October 13, 14.88 percentage points below the five-year average for that date. EU storage held about 80.9 billion cubic meters, 10.8 billion less than a year earlier and the lowest volume since 2013. The European Commission asks members to reach 90% by December 1, allowing 10% flexibility in difficult filling conditions.
