TechNobody is safe from celebrity AI deepfakes

An AI-generated image of Mia Goth wearing a T-shirt aimed at her ex drew nearly 500,000 likes on Instagram, despite appearing on an account labeled as a fan page. Goth’s representative said they had previously complained about the account’s counterfeit AI images. Instagram later removed it for impersonating a public figure. AI-generated celebrity images and videos continue to attract huge audiences, with depictions of female public figures often overtly sexual.
