Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and Arctic Alexey Chekunkov said more than 100 ice-class commercial vessels will be built for the Northern Sea Route. Russia’s eight nuclear-powered icebreakers will be joined by four more, as infrastructure work advances on railways, waterways, ports, satellites and emergency-response fleets.
