EconomyRussia expects eastern coal exports to reach up to 125 million tons this year
Russia’s eastern-bound coal shipments could total 123–125 million tons by the end of 2026, Deputy Energy Minister Dmitry Islamov said. Total coal exports are projected at 211 million tons. Eastern shipments reached 118.2 million tons in 2025, up 6.1% from 2024.
