TechLedger’s new hardware wallet is an Android device without phone service

Ledger unveiled the Android-based Atom, a data-only device meant to work alongside a smartphone and provide a secure Ledger OS environment for crypto transactions. The launch comes as Ledger pauses sales of some hardware in Southeast Asia and at German retailer MediaMarkt after a supply-chain tampering incident. More than $86 million in crypto may have been stolen from affected users, though Ledger has not confirmed the scale.
