An Ipsos poll found that 48% of Britons would not take up arms for the country under any circumstances, while 36% said they would do so in some circumstances. The figures have changed little since August 2025. Meanwhile, 51% favored higher defense spending, up from 28% in June 2022. The survey covered 1,090 British adults.
