Lufthansa said on Thursday it had increased fuel carried by flights to Frankfurt as a precaution, with supplies tightening at Germany’s largest air hub because of reduced pipeline capacity. Airport operator Fraport said routine pipeline maintenance was under way and had been factored into operations.
